Slide 6 - Tekstslide

As Heather just told, it's a very good idea to create a goal before your reading session. You don't need fifteen goals. One goal is more than enough and provides something to focus on during the session. You can choose one of the following goals: sight words, comprehension, fluency and the word work itself.

Write down an example of a question you could ask, during or after reading a non-fiction book, to check comprehension!

Slide 8 - Poll

Poll
Find out what the group thinks. What kind of books do they like best? And why do they like these books best?

Go into discussion why they like what they like and how they could portray that to the kids.

If you like something a lot, it is easier to make other people enthusiastic about it as well.
