2.  To define what mobile applications are and identify which platforms and devices mobile apps are developed for 
3. To explain the characteristics and implications of native, web and hybrid mobile applications 

L01: Think, Pair, Share

In groups of two discuss:

• How do you use your mobile phone?
• Is it a smartphone?
• Discuss the types of apps you use and the context in which you use them 
• Why do you use specific apps

Consider:

• Could some apps be considered risky e.g., apps that give a medical diagnosis or hold medical data.

designed to provide the user with a specific tool, experience of

enhancement that their basic mobile device does not already

challenges and actual use once installed on the mobile device

is dependent on the type of app.”
