*The difference between adjectives (bijv. naamw.) and adverbs (bijwoorden) -> add + verb (voegt iets toe aan een werkwoord)

Het bijvoegelijk naamwoord (adjective)

• Zegt wat over een werkwoord, een bijv. naamwoord of een zinsdeel. Het zegt wat over 'hoe' iets gebeurt. 
• Kenyans absolutely love food. (hoe? -> absolutely)
  
• The players easily defeated their opponents (hoe? -> easily)
• The band played fantastically at the concert (hoe? )
  

Pay attention to the following!

• basisregel: je plakt -ly achter het woord als het een bijwoord is (absolutely, unfortunately) 
• Je vervangt 'y' door 'ily' achter het woord als het een bijwoord is (easy -> easily, day -> daily) 
• je vervangt 'ic' door 'ically' -> (fantastic -> fantastically)
