This is one of the Reading and Writing exercises.
There is an example and five multiple-choice questions. The sentences are about a topic or story. You must choose the word which best fits in the space. 

First some tips!

Tips to handle Cloze test: 

1- Read thoroughly: Read the passage slowly so you will understand the text. Once the text theme is clear, it will make your work simpler. 
--> Candidates often skip reading the entire text to save time.

2- Link the sentences together: Always remember, it is a passage, so the sentences are linked to one another. Never make a mistake of treating every sentence an individual one.

3- Type of word to fill in: Look at the blanks carefully and try to assess which kind of word to put in the blank. Words can be based on grammar, prepositions, tenses, vocabulary etc.
