Exercise I: Let's make our own test!
What do you do?

Come up with 3 questions from chapter 5, paragraph I (Ring of Fire); 3 questions from paragraph II (Earthquakes) and another 3 from paragraph III (Volcanoes) = 9 questions in total.
Write these down. Your neighbour does the same. Then, answer each other's questions.

10 minutes to come up with questions.
5 minutes to answer them.

Don't make them too easy!

Example question

What is the Ring of Fire?

Who can answer this question?

(Don't use this one in your test! :))

Exercise II: From now on you're a news reporter! (15 min.)
Imagine you're working for a very big news agency: CNN, Al Jazeera, BBC, etc.
A major volcanic eruption has just taken place.. And you're the only one reporting!
Search for a movie clip on YouTube named "volcanic eruption" and report as best you can!
This should be at least in your report:
- What do you see? (Describe the situation)
- Where does it take place?
- When did it take place?
- Who's affected?
- What has happened and what could be done about it?
(150 - 200 words, 15 min.)
