1.5 billion speak English — that's 20% of the Earth's population. However, most of those people aren't native English speakers. About 360 million people speak English as their first language.
Attitudes towards language need to change
- Communication is possible without perfect grammar. - Students do not need to speak English like a native. (I dont even speak like I write for school in my first language) - You should always tickle your brain tho! Laziness does not do any good to the brain. - Challenge youself, but have realistic expectations of yourself!
