Wat is nu het verschil in betekenis tussen de past simple en de present perfect?

  • past simple voor dingen die zijn afgelopen
  • present perfect voor: 1. dingen die in het verleden begonnen, en nu nog zo zijn. 2. dingen die eerder zijn gebeurd, maar gevolgen nog merkbaar. Er is dus altijd een link met het  verleden.

    Dus, het verschil tussen de twee: 
  • De Past Simple gebruik je voor zaken die zijn afgerond in het verleden, terwijl er bij de Present Perfect een link is tussen het verleden en het heden.
