Om bezit aan te geven heb je geleerd dat: 
Bij één persoon / dier je een 's krijgt: 
-My dog's toy is in the bench. 
-My sister's friend lives in Canda. 

*Als een naam van één persoon op een -s eindigt, zou ik er gewoon een 's achter plakken.  Dus:  Tess's bag is on the floor.

Als je twee of meer dieren of personen hebt en de meervoudsvorm eindigt op een -s. 

1. My two dogs' toys are in their bench. 
2. My sisters' friends live in Canada.

Onthoud voor nu: 'of' gebruik je om het bezit van dingen aan te geven: 
-The top of the mountain is covered in snow. 
-The roof of the building was damaged in the storm. 

Ook bij steden, dorpen, plaatsen gebruik je 'of'. 
-The capital of France is Paris. The capital of Overijssel is Zwolle.
