Hoe maak je een ontkenning met used to?
Om een ontkenning te maken zet je 'didn't' voor 'use to'.
'Didn't' vertaalt letterlijk naar 'deed niet'.

They didn't use to do that.
She didn't use to call me.

What is a conjunction?

Conjunctions are words that link other words, phrases, or clauses together.

  • and = opsomming
I bought a t-shirt, shoes and jeans.
  • because = reden
I wasn't at school because I was ill.
  • or = keuze
I go fishing or swimming.
  • so = gevolg
I am tired so I am going to bed early.
  • but = tegenstelling
I like sports but I don't like football.

Why are conjunctions important?
Conjunctions are the glue that holds sentences together

Conjunctions show the relation between different words to express much greater meaning.
