Who, Which, Whom, Whose, That

• Who = verwijst naar mensen --> This is the man who stole my dog.
• Whom = verwijst naar mensen direct na een voorzetsel --> The woman to whom John is talking is famous. 
• Which = verwijst naar dieren of dingen --> This is the cat which I got for my birthday.
• Whose = verwijst naar bezit  --> He is the man whose guitar was stolen.
• That = verwijst naar mensen, dieren of dingen en kan NIET gebruikt worden als er komma's staan --> This is the man that helped me yesterday.
• Weglaten = bij bijzinnen zonder komma en een ander woord is het onderwerp --> This is the song I have written.
