Theorie
- Aan de had van de timer en het stoplicht worden er duidelijke verwachtingen gecommuniceerd naar de leerlingen. In combinatie met goed klassenmanagement zou dit moeten leidden tot orde in het klaslokaal (Geert en van Kralingen, 2018, p. 142).

- Lesfase 6, zelfstandig oefenen.
 In deze fase van de les gaan de leerlingen zelfstandig met de opdrachten aan de slag die in het boek staan.
(Geerts & van Kralingen, 2018, p. 110).

- Tijdens deze fase van de les loopt de docent rond om te kijken hoe het bij leerlingen gaat en om waar nodig vragen te stellen. (Geerts en Van Kralingen, 2018, p. 110).
