Much/Many
  • Als je een woord kunt tellen, gebruik je many 
  •  There are many apples in that bag.

  • Als je een woord niet kunt tellen, gebruik je much/ a lot
  • I don't have much money/ I don't have a lot of money.

  • Je gebruikt much en many (veel) alleen bij vragen (?) en ontkennende zinnen (-)
  •  We don't have much milk left/ Are there many potatoes in the dish?

  • Much en many worden ook gebruikt in bevestigende zinnen in combinatie met  too en so (+) 
  • I ate too much/ There is so much to eat.
