4.  Health and Safety Catalogue: Employers formulate their own rules with measures (aimed at the specific company)

Arbobesluit

The Working Conditions Decree is an elaboration of the Working Conditions Act. This contains decisions taken by the government. Such as rules for working hours, special target groups such as young and pregnant employees and rules for exposure to hazardous substances. Both the employer and the employee must comply with the Working Conditions Decree.

Occupational health and safety policy is the policy that an employer pursues within his company in the field of working conditions. A good occupational health and safety policy limits the health risks in the company, reduces absenteeism and promotes reintegration after illness.

The degree of protection is laid down in the Working Conditions Act, the Working Conditions Decree and the Working Conditions Regulations
