Past simple was/were

Negative: was/were+not
I/he/she/it          wasn't                     He wasn't at home.

you/we/they      weren't                   We weren't at school.

Past simple was/were

Questions: start with was/were
Was       I/he/she/it ?                    Was he hungry?

Were     you/we/they?                 Were you tired?

Finish the sentences with the correct form of the past simple of 'to be'.
