Most
nouns
(

) have a regular form. You make these words plural by adding an
-s.
gift - gifts
phone - phones
message - messages
Note!
Never
use
-'s
for the plural form.

Some nouns have different plural forms. Nouns that end with a consonant (

There are exceptions, however:

Some nouns have an irregular plural form and get a completely different plural form. You have to learn these by heart.

Some singular words are always used in plural form. The verbs and other words that go with them are also used in the plural form.
