Shorten as much as possible:
length = -4 x days + 15

SOLVE:   v = 6t - 7 when t = -5

2nd  Solve it with the BALANCE METHOD

v = 6t - 7
Calculate v when t = -5
MY final answer is ....

Solution:

v = 6t - 7            when t = -5, then

v = 6 x -5 - 7 

v = -30 - 7 

v = -37

4n - 6 = k
is a FORMULA

SOLUTION:

4n - 6 = k

This is certainly a FORMULA!

There are TWO VARIABLES in it.

So you can FILL in any number for n and different answers for

k are the results.

- open your Textbook

- put the Learning goal on p.121 between Brackets, 

   because we don't use that Method!

- exercise E20:   cross out the words 'using cards', as we 

   don't use that Method.
