Reading strategies

1. Skim and scan the text: what is the text about?

2. Preview questions: read the questions first, then read the text.

3. Context clues: when you don't understand a word or sentence, read the sentences before and after it to figure it out.

Reading exercise

Read the text and answer the questions in the question document (save the filled in document!).
