Who am I?

• ​I’m 37 years old, but if anyone asks, I’m 25 ;)​
• I’m married to Chris and we have two daughters. Keira and Valérie.​
• Photography is my hobby and my second job, I have my own company photographing pregnancies, babies, families and weddings.​ 
• I LOVE Disney, Marvel, Harry Potter, basically I’m the biggest nerd you’ll ever meet and proud of it.​
• I am a huge Feyenoord fan and never miss a match.​
• In my non-existent spare time I love reading and watching movies and tv series.​
• Oh, and I have a slight shopping addiction.​

Semester 1: what to expect

PTA:

SE week 1: Cito Reading Test (150 minutes, so a full exam)

SE week 2: Speaking, one on one talk with teacher about 5 read books and literary history.

What do you need for class:

Alquin Magazine magazine and workbook (which you will receive in a minute)

Examenbundel (should be arriving this week, will be handed out during next class)

Everything mentioned in the previous slide.

In Classroom:

- write down your name. 

- write down what you expect from me as a teacher.

- write down what I can expect from you.

- one thing you struggle with during English classes. 

Could be reading, writing, grammar etc. 

If you feel like you don't need any help, write that down as well.

Goals:

• Can find information in a text 
• Can reflect on their own work.

Work alone and in silence

The test should take you around 50 minutes minutes. 

Make sure you don't work too fast, it's not a race.
