Natural gas
Russia is an important supplier of energy to Europe.
BUT... Pipeline goes through Ukraine....

Russia uses its natural gas to put pressure on Ukraine:
conflict = gas supply cut off
Which means large parts of Europe will also be cut off...

Russia, Germany, the Netherlands and GB laid the Nord Stream pipeline to avoid the fallout from conflicts between Russia and Ukraine.

Important for NL because:
- Alternative to dutch gas
