We will practise predicting with few assignments and exercises.
After we practise we will look at how predicting works and how it will help you in becoming a better reader.

Movie posters need to tell a story in one picture and limited text (title and tagline)
Can you predict the story, genre, main character by looking at a movie poster?
Make groups of 4
You will all receive a poster. If you have seen the movie in question please join another group.
You have 2 minutes to write down as much as you can of what you think the movie is about.
After the 2 minutes are up you all have one minute to share your predictions about the movie with the class.
