Slide 2 - Slide

After today's lesson...
I know how I did on the test, and which things still need fixing
I know what the third term is going to look like
I know what to do in the project Modern Fiction
I have made some decisions about the project

Test evaluation
I'll give you back the test and talk you through the correct answers.
As always, check whether you got all the points you should have, and circle anything you want me to take a second look at.
Then answer the question on the next slide.

In order to score a ten on this test, I should have done the following thing(s) differently:

Slide 5 - Open question

The third term
- Speeches (3x)
- Project (3x)
- SO Unit 5 (1x)
- Test in testweek (3x)
- Everything is in the planner, which I have shared with you.
- I may (and will) deviate from this; the planner is mainly there so you'll know what to do in case I'm absent in a certain week.

Project Dystopia
- Alone or together
- Part research, part creativity
- In English
- Due date 18th of June at midnight
- You find the project in Teams, but I have had it printed it for you as well
- You hand it in in Teams. Teams check for plagiarism. This check works.
- I also have tools to check for use of chat-GPT
- I will give you time to work on this in class.
- You get points for speaking English while working on the project. My ears are better than you may think.

Slide 8 - Slide

Let's have a look at the project
Any questions?

Slide 9 - Slide

What to do now?
- Decide whether you want to work alone, or with a classmate
- Read through the project and figure out what to do.
- If anything is not clear, ask.
- The "scoring points for speaking English" starts now.
