The future - de toekomst

We gebruiken in het Engels de "future" om te spreken over dingen die nog gaan komen.

Deze dingen kunnen nog ver weg zijn maar ook al snel gebeuren.

We kunnen over twee manieren spreken over de toekomst

- To be going to

- Will (shall)

Will -> Spontaan / onzeker	To be going to -> besloten / zeker(der)
Bij een wens, veronderstelling, belofte, aanbod, verzoek of voorspelling. We promise we will be on time.	Als er een duidelijk aanwijzing is dat iets in de toekomst gaat gebeuren. Look at those dark clouds. It is going to rain .
Als je een beslissing neemt op het moment van spreken. I' ll have a cup of tea and a sandwich.	Op het moment dat het gaat om plannen die je hebt gemaakt vóór het gesprek plaatsvond. We' re going to watch a movie together.
