Last time was quite chaotic, here's a reminder about the rules:

Lesson aim

At the end of the lesson the student:

- knows about the present simple

- knows about questions in the present simple

- has practiced listening.

TURN THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE INTO A QUESTION:
"Thomas will pick up the latest newspaper after he went to school, but not before he goes there in the first place."

Auxiliary verbs

Hulpwerkwoorden komen voor wanneer er meerdere werkwoorden in een zin staan.

to be/ can/ may/ will

Deze komen bij vragen vooraan te staan.

Which verbs can "to be" be?

Rule #2:

do/does

Wanneer er een ander werkwoord in de zin staat gebruiken we do and does.

He uses your notebook. --> Does he use your notebook?

Rule #3

have/have got

 Bij have in de zin gebruiken we do:

You have math class next -->

Do you have math class next?

Maar wat gebeurt er bij have got?

He has a new phone. -->

Start with chapter 2, page 106 and make exercise 39A/B
