2 manieren om vragen te maken in het Engels

1. Staat er am/is/are/can/have in de zin?
2. Staat er een ander werkwoord in? Zoals loop, werk, speel, enzovoort...

Bij be/can/have
Deze woorden heet ook wel hulpwerkwoorden:
to be = am / are / is:   You are happy.   -->   Are you happy?
can       -->       She can play the piano. --> Can she play the piano?
to have got = have got / has got -->       
They have got a nice dog.     -->          Have they got a nice dog?

Bij alle andere werkwoorden moet je 'do of does' toevoegen aan de vraag.

Voeg 'not' toe achter het hulpwerkwoord:
You are happy.
You are not (aren't) happy.

She can play the piano.
She cannot (can't) play the piano.

They have got a nice dog.
They have not got (haven't got) a nice dog.

Ontkenningen met hoofdwerkwoorden
Voeg 'do of does not' toe aan voor hoofdwerkwoord:
I play tennis every week.
I do not (don't) play tennis every week.

He reads a book every month.
He does not (doesn't) read a book every month.

Maak de vraag af: Kies uit de volgende woorden en zet ze op de goede plek: can/be/have

Let op: Het eerste woord van de zin wordt altijd met hoofdletter geschreven!
