- used in the place of names of people, animals and things

Example: Anna is nice -> She is nice.

- singular = 1 / plural = 2 or more

- an animal is an it.  

Example: I have a cat. It is really furry.

- I is always spelled with a capital letter

- You can be used for 1 person and fore more people
