Present Simple = Tegenwoordige tijd

Te gebruiken bij:

- Gewoontes

Bij he/she/it zet je een S achter het werkwoord.

Let op:

Als het werkwoord een medeklinker+Y als uitgang heeft, verander je het in -IES bij “he/she/it”.

Bijvoorbeeld: 

I study every day. 

Sandra studies every day.

Let op:

Dit doe je niet als het werkwoord een klinker+Y als uitgang heeft.

Bijvoorbeeld:

I play soccer 3 times a week. 

He plays soccer 3 times a week.

Als het werkwoord een S-klank als uitgang heeft, verander je het in -ES bij he/she/it.
