What is a unit of measurement? Can you give some examples?

Have you heard of and can you explain the metric system and imperial system?

Answer

Most countries use the metric system which uses measuring units such as meters and grams, and adds prefixes such as kilo, milli, and centi to count orders of magnitude. In the United States, they use the older imperial system, where things are measured in feet, inches, and pounds.
