Goal

You will learn more about the different types of linking words

You will practice with the use of the different types of linking words.

Why are linking words important?

They are the glue that holds sentences together (connect, compare, contrast)

Linking words show the relation between different words to express much greater meaning.

Why use a conjunction?

• om twee dingen aan elkaar te verbinden
  
• kunnen woorden, zinsdelen of zinnen zijn
  
• je geeft aan wat de relatie is tussen beide delen (opsomming, reden, tegenstelling,.....)

Reden/oorzaak

Gevolg
