Prepositions of instrument

Use by fortransport:

I go to school by bike.

We travelled to Greece by plane. 

My parent go to work by car. 

Prepositions of instruments

Use 'with'  for tools/devices:

- I fixed my bike with a screwdriver.

- This lock opens with a key.

Use 'on' for devices

- I made the PowerPoint on my laptop.

Preposition of connection

 Use with : related or together

I'm on holiday with my family.

She's going to the party with Mike. 

I'd like a sandwich with cheese and ham.

Preposition of connection

to - physically connected

My phone is connected to my speaker.

Prepositions of origin

'from' where someone of something comes from. 

Julia is from Spain.

Spider-Man is from New York. 

Sushi is from Japan.

Preposition of origin

Made of (material of someting)

The necklace is made of silver.

The bracelet is made of string and beads.

Made from (material that is completely changed)

Glass is made from sand.

Chocolate is made from cocoa beans.

Prepositions of direction/movement 

Use down to go towards a lower level:

She walked down the stairs.

He climbed down the ladder. 

He came down in the elevator.

 

Prepositions of direction

Use across to talk about the other side:

He lives across from me.

There's a shop across the street.
