Een negation / ontkenning gebruik je om te zeggen 

dat iets niet zo is.

Hoe pas ik een ontkenning toe?

• Je verandert niets aan de tijd waar de zin in staat.
• Je plaatst NOT achter hulpwerkwoorden.
• Je kunt ook wel eens een verkorting gebruiken
•  De meeste werkwoorden kun je niet ontkennend maken dan gebruik je DON'T / DOESN'T / DIDN'T + hele werkwoord
