IF clauses (if-bijzinnen)
First Conditional = Zeer waarschijnlijk (will + ww, present simple):
  • I will get very angry, if you hit me in the face.
    (If you hit me in the face, I'll get very angry.)
  • I will open the door, if you ring the bell.

Second Conditional = Niet zo waarschijnlijk (would + ww, present simple):
  • I would sponsor a good, if I was famous.
  • He would feel better, if he took his medicine, but he refuses to.
