Stones dictee!

Dictee moet in stilte!

Eerst lees ik de zin op, daarna herhaal ik de zin en schrijf je op wat je hoort. Vervolgens herhaal ik de zin opnieuw.

Prepositions zijn voorzetsels. (Kastwoorden)

- Geeft aan wanneer iets gebeurd

In: maanden, jaren, seizoenen en specifieke delen van de dag

I woke up in the afternoon

on: dagen van de week, maand en datums, ook speciale dag

I have a game on Saturday

At: tijden en feestdagen

I saw my aunt at Christmas

Prepositions of place

- Geeft aan waar iets gebeurd

In: plekken in de natuur, landen en als iets ergens in is

He took photos in the museum

On: openbaar vervoer en iets ligt ergens bovenop

My phone is on the table

At: specifeke locaties, huisnummers en (namen van) gebouwen

I am at the station

Future Tense

De toekomende tijd is een grammaticale tijd die wordt gebruikt om acties of gebeurtenissen te beschrijven die in de toekomst zullen plaatsvinden. 

Adjectives and adverbs

Adjectives = Bijvoeglijke naamwoorden

• Zegt iets over een zelfstandig naamwoord of persoon, dier of ding
  She is beautiful, what a beautiful horse,...

Adverbs = Bijwoorden

• Zegt iets over een werkwoord (hoe iets gebeurt), of een bijvoeglijk naamwoord, of een ander bijwoord. Het gaat dan om 'hoe'.
  She danced beautifully. He is very succesful. He moved quickly

Als het niet iets zegt over een zelfstandig naamwoord is het dus een bijwoord

Adverbs ending in -Y

For adjectives that end in -y, we remove the -y and add -ily:

crazy  -  crazily 

happy  -  happily

Adverbs ending in -LE

For adjectives that end in a + le we remove the -e and add -y:

terrible  -  terribly 

horrible  -  horribly

Adverbs ending in -IC

If the adjective ends in -ic, we add -ally:

ironic  -  ironically

enthusiastic  -  enthusiastically

realistic  -  realistically

Except: public  -  publicly

Irregular Adverbs

Some adverbs are irregular:

 

fast - fast     The man drives very fast (quickly).

good - well   You speak English very well.

Low-low
