What is a coat of arms?

Think of 1 thing that has to do with your coat of arms

Present your coat of arms

Put your coat of arms on your table 

Coat of arms

• Symbol hobby/something personal
• Symbol special place
• Other symbol 
• Animal that represents your strength
• Two colours
• Your own motto   "Be kind and you shall receive kindness."

Preparation

Take 5 minutes to prepare your presentation. Describe each part of your coat of arms. Make sure you can tell your classmates about:

  − the symbols you used in your coat of arms and why;

  − the animal you chose to represent your strength or personality and why;

  − the meaning of your motto;

  − the colours you used and why you chose these colours

Presenting

• Display your coat of arms so the classmates in your group can see it.
• Take turns presenting your coat of arms.
• The oldest person in the groups starts.
• the presenter talks for 2 minutes, the rest only listens
• make sure you speak clearly and slowly

Evaluation

• Fill in the rubric for the presentation of one classmate in your group. 
• Make sure you all choose a different presentation.
