Let's get to know Scotland
The national animal of Scotland is a unicorn. When King Robert appointed the unicorn as Scotland's national animal in the fourteenth century, most people around the world still believed in the existence of unicorns. You can see the country`s flag and president in the photos in de side.  Scotland has three official languages: English, Scots and Scottish Gaelic. In Of the more than 5 million inhabitants of Scotland, approximately 1.5 million people speak Scots. Although Scots is an official language in Scotland, it is not recognised by the British government.  Linguists still disagree on whether Scots is a language or a dialect. There are over 790 Scottish islands, divided into several archipelagos. The majority of the islands are uninhabited. Traditional foods in Scotland are:
Scottish smoked salmon,
Haggis, Black pudding, Scotch pies,
Aberdeenshire Butteries (a type of bread roll)
