  • It was a cold and dark night. I was walking down the street on my own. There was no one else on the streets to be found, it was eerily quiet.
  • Suddenly I heard footsteps behind me, even though I knew no one could be there. I started walking faster. The footsteps behind me also quickened their pace.
  • It was then that I turned around to see who, or what, was following me. To my surprise I saw no one behind me. I was still alone. I decided it was just my imagination and kept walking. But the footsteps behind me were still there...
