American artist
Very influential.
He wrote a lot of protest songs. Nobel Prize of Literature in 2016.




We are going to listen to his song  "The Hurricane" .

Ballad: a poem or song narrating a story in short stanzas/verses 
Dylan visited Carter in prison on December 7, 1975 and the next day raised over $100,000 for Carter's defense at a Madison Square Garden concert with his Rolling Thunder Revue, which featured Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell and Roberta Flack. On January 25, 1976, Dylan and his Revue held another charity concert, Hurricane II, in the Astrodome, where they were joined by Stevie Wonder and Isaac Hayes.

In 1985 Federal Judge H. Lee Sarokin of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, ruled that Carter had not received a fair trial and overturned the conviction, resulting in Carter's release
