What do did you learn in the
last two English lessons?

Today's goal:

To learn how to write a short opinion piece, with a good structure and at least 3 arguments (= reasons why you think something is the case).

Teacher's example:

Last week, I already knew it would be hot today and I accepted it. To be honest, I like sunny weather. 

Today, however, I am not so sure anymore. Firstly, it's hotter than I imagined it to be. Secondly, it's September! What's this, climate change? Thirdly, I forgot to put on sunscreen.

To conclude, I will be happy when autumn starts. I need a change of weather.

Assignment / to do now:

1. Work in pairs: with your neighbour

2. What's your opinion on the video we saw? Discuss this and write down 3 arguments to support your opinion

4. Then write a short opinion piece (around 100 words) about the video. Be ready to share it with the class.

5. In your writing, use at least 3 words from Follow UP 1, 2 3! Underline these words.
