  • Je zet: werkwoord + ed in bevestigende zinnen  (+)
  •  She worked online at the supermarket yesterday.
  • We walked a small round two days ago. 
They jogged for about ten kilometers last Sunday.

  • Bij een korte klinkerklank (a,e,o,i,u) verdubbel je de medeklinker

  • Als er een 'y' in het werkwoord staat, moet je goed kijken of er een klinker (a,e,o,i,u) of een medeklinker ervoor staat. 
  • She stayed at the hotel yesterday.  (stay -> stayed)
  • My father hurried to catch the bus. (hurry -> hurried)
  • My uncle worried about his job.        (worry-> worried)
