Learning Objective
At the end of the class period, you will be familiar with 1 or 2 classroom expectations, what supplies you will need for the class, evacuation procedures, and bus locations on your first day of school.

Introduce yourself to your classmates. Share your name, interests, and something unique about you.

Encourage students to get to know their peers by sharing personal information. This will create a positive classroom environment.

 Supply List Review
 Make sure you have all the necessary materials for a successful start.
  • Laptop or Ipad (School issued device)
  • Blue or Black pens 
  • Colored pencils and or markers (Red, Green, Black)
  • Poly folder with fasteners in the middle
  • Index cards (500) and a quart size ziplock bag

Recommend students to check their backpacks and ensure they have all the required supplies.

  • Your device should be fully charged and ready to go daily.  That means do not come to class without it charged.  If you can charge your phone at night you can charge your device.

Learn about the evacuation procedures in case of emergencies. Pay attention to the designated meeting points.

Familiarize yourself with the bus locations and bus numbers. Know where to find your bus after school.

In pairs, introduce a classmate to the rest of the class. Share their name, interests, and something unique about them.
