What is an adverb of frequency
An adverb of frequency is a word that tells us how often something happens. 

always, never, sometimes, often, regularly, rarely, currently, usually,

RULE
The adverb is always before the main verb:
I don't usually work at the weekends.

If the main verb is 'to be'(i.e. am/are/is) the adverb goes after the verb :
I am never later for school.
