  • Give name of your book (oral exam)   – 18 November
  • Hand in oral exam folder                          – 2 December
  • Idiom test A-Z - 3%                                       9 December
  • Oral exam – 25%                                           – Testweek 2
  • CITO listening test – 25%                          –  Week after testweek 2

- Talk 1-2 minutes about something you read/saw in the news in English (proper news!)
- The teacher gives feedback (students can as well)
- A few students per lesson
- It is compulsory

Oral Exam
Learning goals:

- I can have a discussion (12-15 minutes) about the book I read on ERK C1 level.
- I am able to demonstrate my knowledge about the contents of the book and can link it to socially relevant articles that I have selected.
- I can express myself in English fluently and spontaneously on a level which makes a normal conversation with a native speaker possible.
- I can actively participate in a discussion within the chosen context, and explain and support my arguments.
- I can express my ideas precisely and without any hesitation as required in a social or professional setting.

The discussion will be focused on a book listed in the planner AND 
3 articles on socially relevant topics which can be linked to a theme/themes of the book.

Oral Exam Folder
Find 3 socially relevant articles that can be linked to the theme of the book
> Each article needs to be in English, a minimum of one A4 + include a short summary made by you.
