So let's give this a try!

Gather the following materials:

Multimeter

Copper wire (30cm)

6+6 Anode/catode (Cu/Zn squares)

2 of each lime/lemon/potatoes

2 led light

Your experiment

Your going to connect the gathered material together to try and make the led shine using each the limes, then lemons, then potatoes as batteries. So 3 experiments!

In the next slide you have an example. 

What do you think will happen using the limes?

What do you think will happen using the lemons?

What do you think will happen using the potatoes?

Make a timelaps of your experiment and hand this in at the end. 

which led was the brightest? And can you explain why?

How many Volts do you measure by each fruit/veg?
