Na een medeklinker wordt Y -> Ie

Na een klinker blijft het een Y

Een stille e kan wegvallen

(Share - Sharing, Care - Caring)

Finally,

Ie kan veranderen in een Y als het aan het eind van een werkwoord staat en op Ing moet eindigen.
