You know the difference between the present simple and the present continuous. 

Present simple:
She always _____ (to call) her friend at work.

Present simple 

- Base verb:

I play piano every Tuesday.

- He / she / it = base verb +s
She plays piano every Tuesday.

Present simple 

Does the base verb end with ''o'' = es

Do = does

Go = goes

Present simple 

-Bij een werkwoord dat eindigt op een s-klank krijg je –es in plaats van –s.

-Bij een werkwoord op –y krijg je –ies 

-Als –y na een klinker komt, verandert de y niet.

Present continuous

am / is / are + verb ending with -ing 

He is talking to the customer. 
I am walking up those five flights of stairs.

Present continuous

Je gebruikt de present continuous om aan te geven dat iets bezig is op het moment dat je spreekt of schrijft.
