Extinction Rebellion activists are sprayed by a police water cannon as they block the A12 motorway in protest against the government’s support for the fossil fuel industry in The Hague. The climate activists said that they were planning to block the road every day until the government stops giving subsidies. New activists will replace the ones that are arrested by police
