How many celebrities can you spot? 

Celebrity endorsement is the use of a famous person in an advertising campaign to promote a certain brand of product. What do you think the advantage of this might be for the advertisers?

Although in some countries there are bans on junk food advertising during television programmes aimed at young people, children and teenagers are still exposed to adverts promoting food products like the ones in the clip.

What do you think the long- and short-term consequences of this might be? 

Is this dangerous?

Who is responsible?

Who should take responsibility for the problems  that may potentially arise as a result of advertising?

Is it the advertisers themselves?

Or the celebrities who endorse such products?
