• Use synonyms to avoid repetition.
• Use Dutch word if you can't remember the English.
  
• Use linking words to structure the text.
• Use referencing words to link information.

• Guess meaning from context (other words within the sentence)
  
• Does it look like a word you know? (verb/nouns/Dutch word/other language.
• Look up in dictionary (interglot.nl / dictionary.cambridge.org).

• Read the assignment
• Mark key words
• Make writing outline = to-do list. Include synonyms + words from assignment + mandatory elements
  
• Write letter / email / review etc
• Read written letter etc + adjust = re-writing
• Check: I = capital, First letter sentence = capital, interpunction (dots, commas etc).
