Lang concentreren is moeilijk. Dat vinden jonge mensen en dat vinden oude mensen. 

Dat is nu eenmaal zo. Onze hersenen vinden het op een gegeven moment wel welletjes geweest.
 

De oplossing hiervoor kan zijn om in plaats van heel lang achter elkaar te leren, je leermomenten op te delen in stukjes met tussendoor kleine pauzes. 

Dit zorgt ervoor dat je hersenen nooit in een grote concentratiedip komen.

3.2 De Pomodorotechniek - theorie 1 

Zoals je in de vorige slide in de aandachtscurve kunt zien, is het van groot belang dat je leert in korte blokken om je concentratie hoog te houden.

Een techniek die hier slim gebruik van maakt is de Pomodorotechniek.

Deze is bedacht door een Italiaanse student die zo veel mogelijk leerwerk gedaan wilde krijgen in zo min mogelijk tijd. Hij bedacht per leerblok hoe ver hij wilde komen, zette een kookwekker (een kookwekker in vorm van tomaat/’pomodoro’ in het Italiaans) en ging aan de slag.

Theorie 2: Pomodorotechniek 

• Open het werkblad door op werkblad te klikken en vul de eerste kolom in
  
• Schrijf bij elke taak wat je gaat doen en schrijf bij elke pauze wat je in de pauze gaat doen.
  
• Schrijf bij elke taak ook het doel van de taak (kolom 2): Wat wil je af hebben na die 25 minuten.
  
• Bewaar het werkblad. Deze heb je nodig bij het experiment

Let op: de derde en vierde kolom hoef je nog niet in te vullen.
