Signaalwoorden: Always, never, sometimes, usually, regularly, every week, sometimes, hardly ever, etc.

+: stam + (s)                                              I always walk to school.
-: don't/doesn't + stam                        I don't always walk to school.
?: Do/Does + onderwerp + stam      Do I always walk to school?

Spellingsuitzonderingen (alleen bij he/she/it):
1. Go -> Goes                   3. Eindigt het woord met een -s klank = +es                            Watch -> Watches

Conjunctions zijn voegwoorden. Ze geven een relatie aan tussen woorden, zinnen of verschillende delen van een zin.

Most children like cookies and milk. (woorden & opsomming)
The gold is hidden by the lake or by the hillside. (delen van een zin & opties)
I got wet because I forgot my umbrella. (zinnen & reden)
