- You have brought 3 objects that means someting for you / tells me something about you as a person
- Which object is more important? What do you want the viewer to see first? Think about the placement and composition.
- Once you are happy about the composition, choose your light source. Use the lights to create a light source and think about the position.
- What does the placement of the light say to you? Do you want more direct light from above or do you want more dramatic light from below? What effect does the light have on the objects? Experiment with this!
- Draw in the shapes of the objects. Look at where they are in relation to eachother.
- Draw the lights and shadows the way we practiced and learned in the previous lesson. Think about where you place your highlights and pay good attention to the values found in the shadows.
- Use charcoal.
